‘Colorbar’ is having a battle against ‘All for One’ for the right to perform at the charity event as the schools representatives. The response of the classmates for ‘All for One’ is really good as expected of the schools band. But the response for ‘Colorbar’, the underdog is amazing. The classmates cheer for them like they are some idols and even the vice-president is sweating upon the surprise. Even Ma Hyo Ri is admiring Yoon Seol Chan and falls in love with him. However the decision doesn’t lie in the hands of the students or the teachers, who also liked the performance of ‘Colorbar’ but in the hands of the vice-president.

During the break Na Na is thinking about smoking on the rooftop but stops in the action as she thinks about Seon Woo. Just at that moment Seon Woo comes and speaks to her.
He speaks about her condition to come. Last Episode they didn’t show us the whole conversation of the two. When he told her that he sees the singing Na Na, the Colorbar Na Na and the Na Na that likes sewing. He told him that that is not what he sees but what he wants to see. That is when she comes up with the condition that he had to play with her 10 times then she would come to the performance.
He tells her that he won’t break his promise. She will only have to tell him the location and time of their dates. But she should not smoke when they play.
Is he really that dumb? I mean she told him that he only sees what he wants to see with a sad face and then she wants to play meaning having dates with him? However I’ve got to admit that Kim Na Na is a smart girl!
The result is ‘All for One’ suits the charity event more in the vice-presidents opinion. He believes that all the old people won’t like to listen to loud, noisy music which ‘Colorbar’ presented.
To be honest I knew this would happen and I somehow also agree with him. Although I liked ‘Colorbar’s Performance more it’s true that ‘All for One’s style suits the charity event more and well we all got to admit that their ‘Amazing Grace’ was daebak!
Upon hearing that ‘Colorbar’ members are leaving the hall one by one. Leaving only Se Yi and Kyu Dong back who thanks Se Yi for making this memory. (No one wanted to do it but when Se Yi saw Kyu Dong wanting it so back she called Seon Woo in who mobilized all the members.)
While checking the new on the Internet about the performance Seol Chan stumbles over the article ’40 signs that you are in love’. He reads them being surprised by how accurate they are and agrees to them. The manager who misunderstands that thinks that the article about the performance came out that well. At home he still continues reading them and one says: You always miss them them. Thus he takes the phone and debates with himself wether to call her or not.
At the same time Se Yi looks at the button and piece of paper she has from Seol Chan and remembers that she only consoled Kyu Dong totally forgetting about Seol Chan. Being worried that he would be sad she also takes the phone.
Seon Woo calls and asks how she feels. Right then Seol Chan calls her and she takes up his phone call telling Seon Woo to wait. First he blames for not thinking about him back in the music hall that she should have followed him out when he went and not stay with Kyu Dong as she is his ‘partner’ (seat mate). Then he tells her to accompany him to the cinema as she is his partner but upon hearing his accusations she gets mad and tells him to watch it with his manager, friends or fans. Then she end the call even the one with Seon Woo. So Seon Woo calls back and asks her to watch a movie with him but she rejects him saying that she has other things planned.
But actually she wants to go to the cinema with Seol Chan the next day. So she calls back saying that she feels pity for him and agrees to go out with him the next day.
Together they watch a movie sitting in a couples chair. Which wonders Se Yi but Seol Chan tells her that it is because he is a celebrity and that he needs his space. Throughout the movie Seol Chan looks at her.
Meanwhile Na Na and Seon Woo meet each other as Na Na has written him last night after he failed to ask Se Yi out at a book store. There he asks her why she wanted to meet there and her reason is that she wouldn’t come to such a place alone without him. After the greeting she takes out a pencil and marks his arm as a counter.
They go the cake shop Se Yi and Seon Woo went last time. She asks him why he agreed to do this. And he answers that he was nice once but that that got misunderstood which led to him being cold know. But lately he thinks hat he should be nice again and regards this as a nice deed because she was literally asking for help.
… Are you kidding me? I feel so bad for Na Na, even if she doesn’t feel that bad after hearing that Seon Woo is so not sensitive even if he liked Se Yi he shouldn’t treat Na Na like this. Also this conversation is indicating what happened between him and Seol Chan but there won’t be anymore in this episode 😦 I’m dying from curiosity.
The two couples are walking past each other without noticing. Se Yi sees a sheep and is happy about that. So Seol Chan buys her that as a memory.
Seon Woo takes Na Na to the thai street singer Natthew next and together they listen to it. Seon Woo and the singer greet each other, the singer looks at Na Na and he stops smiling. Making Seon Woo look at her and laugh because Na Na looks serious/mad just like always even on a date.
After they leave Se Yi and Seol Chan walk by and watch the performance. Se Yi sings with Natthew making Seol Chan jealous as it seems to him that she likes all guitar playing guys. When he asks her that she says yes because they all remind her of her dad who looked really cool and solitary playing the guitar. For her the difference between lonely and solitary is that you are lonely because there is no one but you are solitary because you choose to be by yourself. Not really upon hearing that but more because he’s jealous he wants to try playing the guitar but Se Yi thinks that he wants to know whether he will look lonely or solitary playing the guitar.

Se Yi goes with Seol Chan to a guitar maker who seems to already know her as the sheep girl from New Zealand. She borrows a guitar from him.
Just like Seol Chan I’m wondering how many people Se Yi spoke to about her raising sheeps in New Zealand o.O
And the two play guitar together after a few tries. All Seol Chan has to do is strumming the guitar while Se Yi plays the chords. First she stands in front of him which doesn’t work. Thus Seol Chan tells her to go besides his head. So stands besides him but as that is not right she sits down completing the typical drama image which Seol Chan wanted. After a few tries they manage to play and sing a song together.

Meanwhile Seon Woo and Na Na watch the same movie Seol Chan and Se Yi did. Here Na Na is the one who keeps looking at Seon Woo. She smiles upon seeing Seon Woo by her side watching a movie with her.
As we’ve already seen them walking past each other this is no surprise. The meeting of the two couples. The two couples see each other right after Seol Chan just asks Se Yi to be his one day girlfriend.
But they don’t have time to talk to each other a stare at each as the reporter from before appears in front of Se Yi and Seol Chan. Let’s not forget that Seol Chan is an idol. Thus the reporter immediately takes photos of Se Yi asking them if Seol Chan is on a date with his girlfriend.
He keeps on taking picture even though Seol Chan says that she is not his girlfriend scaring Se Yi who is not able to says anything. Luckily Seon Woo comes to their rescue saying that he is her boyfriend and that they are all going to play around together.
He even uses Na Na and tells her to call the others to see where they are already. So she calls the others and tells Seon Woo that they are already at the cinema.
Together they go to the cinema to continue their act as the reporter follows them not fully believing that Seol Chan was not on a date with Se Yi.
The ones Na Na called are the rest of ‘Colorbar’. They are surprised to be called out to the cinema suddenly by Na Na. Although no one tells them the reason the three still watch the movie together with the two couples which are full of tension.
During the movie Seol Chan looks at Se Yi and she looks at him. While Seon Woo looks at Se Yi Na Na looks at him. This drama is quietly followed by the reporter.
By the way they are watching the same movie again. They are spending money for the same movie. Well, ok Seol Chan is an Idol and earns a lot but why did they choose the same movie again… a mystery which will never be solved.
On monday Seon Woo asks Se Yi how she feels and explains to her that it was Na Na who wanted to play as they were both bored. As they are talking Na Na walks right through them seperating the two.
The video of the performance is watched by everyone and they are all praising ‘Colorbar’. From Seol Chan to Seon Woo, Na Na Do Nam and even Kyu Dong – everyone looks at them differently.
Eun Ha who has been enjoying the praises asks how they think she was. But they don’t even see her and ask her what she has actually done hurting her.
But the four Se Yi, Seol Chan, Seon Woo and Na Na can’t really be happy after what had happened. Seol Chan writes Se Yi to meet him in the car.
Lol, the car has become their privat meeting place and without the manager it wouldn’t be complete. Don’t know why but I would definitely think there is something missing when he is not there or the weird man hugging the cushion. Oh right that is also Hong manager.
He tells her to forget about yesterday and to not bother about that reporter. After hearing that she quietly leaves the car.
So somehow this ended with Seol Chan dumping Se Yi. The manager reprimands Seol Chan saying that a relationship is not allowed. So he should forget Se Yi fast. But he ends up laughing when he hears Seol Chan saying can you be in a relationship alone. Meaning either he has been dumped or has been doing the dumping.
Although most of the classmates have stopped mistreating Kyu Dong Jae Rok still treats him bad. He tells him to not feel good about the performance as it was not his accomplishment.
On the way home Eun Ha is still watching the video asking herself and Se Yi who is not responding and going away of she is really invisible.
😦 Eun Ha ya… You are part of the group. The girls were so mean although they had their point somehow, somewhere but we all know that Eun Ha had been the one who was always concerned about everyone, happy to be a ‘Colorbar’ member and did everything with enthusiasm. Well and Se Yi did they ever go home together? because we always see the two sitting in front of the Seol Chan advertisement and then Se Yi apologizes and goes to…
After the battle the members kept their promise and did not come to the basement anymore. Han Ji Woong gets nostalgic and walks through the basement remembering the kids.
Just when he sees the flowers Se Yi knocks at his door. The two clean up together while Se Yi talks about her problems. She says that she’s not angry at Seol Chan but that she is sad.
So Han Ji Woong asks her THE question if she likes him. But she doesn’t know the answer to that question. Instead she wants to cut her hair.
Because you always cut your hair to start a new page in your life. But as she likes long hair she wouldn’t cut her hair so Han Ji Woong has to cut his.
Well actually she just wanted to cut his hair from the first day on. He accompanies her home.
And on his way home he sees Choi Kyung, Min Se Yi’s mother. They walk past each other and then turn around and look at each other. But then without saying a word Choi Kyung goes her way not leaving Han Ji Woong time to speak to her.
As expected the other man at her side when Se Yi’s father died(?)
Upon hearing the news of the arrival of her mother Se Yi packs her things and wants to leave but just then her mother arrives and takes the luggage away. Without the luggage only with the guitar Se Yi goes and her mother follows her.
The aunt is left alone. Her worries are ‘Do I have to search for a place to live now?’
Choi Kyung stops Se Yi from running away and tells her to stay at least for the night as it would be too dangerous to wander around searching for a place now.
Meanwhile Han Ji Woong takes out the CD of Se Yi’s dad and goes around his room thinking. (I guess).
The next day the reporter is at their school and asks the students of they are know Se Yi and if Se Yi is Seol Chan’s girlfriend. Ma Hyo Ri who sees that and hears the name of the company stop by and talks to him. She says that she is his girlfriend, Ma Hyo Ri. She tells him where she lives and who her father is and apparently her father is the president of the company. Thus she tells the reporter to stop connecting Seol Chan with Se Yi and to stop messing around with Seol Chan as he is ‘hers’.
Seol Chan and Seon Woo are talking to each other about what happened when Se Yi comes. She asks Seol Chan if he has thanked Seon Woo yet and he says no because he doesn’t think there is a reason to.
After saying that he leaves the two alone as he is angry that they are alone he stays for a moment and hears Seon Woo telling Se Yi directly that he loves her.
Kyu Dong gets praised by girls for his looks. They tell him to take of his glasses because he looks better without them. Jae Rok who sees that starts to fool around with Kyu Dong and tells him to put on the glasses and do his job as Radio – singing. But Kyu Dong goes out of the classroom.
He apologizes to Do Nam for what he had done. He says that he regrets it.
Back then when the two were young they participated in a audition together as two brothers. Do Nam did beatboxing and Kyu Dong sang and danced ‘Rainism’.
But the judges warned them after the performance that it could be the case that they will only take one of them. Do Nam is worried but still said that if they would only choose him he wouldn’t go without Kyu Dong and Kyu Dong said that he would do the same.
It had to happen. The judges only wanted Kyu Dong and he wavered saying that he would continue without Do Nam. After that the two fought. Kyu Dong said that he would practice even harder because of Do Nam but he just felt betrayed by the one and only friend he had.
As they’ve fought by the stairs Do Nam gets angry, pushes Kyu Dong arm away and slip. He falls down injuring his arm and ending his chances to do judo. Even when he was in the hospital Kyu Dong didn’t visit him but practiced only to fail a few weeks after. That’s why he hates Kyu Dong.
It’s finally solved. This is what happened between them… Somehow I already expected something more or less in this direction but after watching the scene I still felt really sad. Not only did Kyu Dong betray he was also the cause for Do Nam’s injury which made him quit judo, the sports he still longs for.
Jae Rok who was standing behind a tree heard the whole conversation.
Seon Woo has to give some papers to the Dok Go teacher. While standing there Choi teacher asks him if something happened because he can feel some difference, some manliness.
He tells him to go to the gym and pen the windows to catch some air.
Back in the classroom Jae Rok told the whole classroom about Kyu Dong and Do Nam’s past and made it look like Do Nam told them the story. The whole classroom acts as if they feel pity for Do Nam and as if they want to revenge him. Do Nam who sees that leaves the classroom immediately.
With this action Jae Rok made it clear for Kyu Dong that he will always be Ra-di-o. That he can’t escape, that he will always be the outsider, that even Do Nam left him alone.
Kyu Dong eventually sings and sings and sings until the end of the song and leaves the classroom.

Eun Ha who was the the whole time felt bad for him but didn’t know what to do or more like was afraid to help him.
Se Yi who was still outside picks up a paper flyer and looks up searching for Kyu Dong. She sees him standing on the rooftop and panics. She runs towards him while taking out the phone to call him.
Kyu Dong takes the phone and throws it away while he apologizes to Se Yi, his mother and his father. He says that he finally has the courage to jump.
His classmates aren’t noticing anything and just do their stuff. The classmates in the classroom, Seon Woo standing in the gym, Do Nam being angry,… Only Se Yi tries to desperately call him and stop him.
But she can’t reach him anymore. She runs into the school but runs into Seol Chan and cries. While Kyu Dong takes further steps. –

This Episode was rather sad at the beginning you think ‘hey, finally Se Yi begins to admit her feelings’ and you think everything is going way too smooth. And you are right. Kyu Dong is harassed by Jae Rok and the way Kyu Dong sings the song makes you suspicious. Did he just accept reality or … and then you think back to the first episode. When Kyu Dong was standing at the rooftop but then went down again and cried. And again you are right. The next moment you see him standing on the rooftop saying I’ve finally gained enough courage.
Wow this Episode turned into a real drama. I don’t know if I liekd the episode or not. On the on hand we finally know what happened between Kyu Dong and Do Nam and we can expect some development on the romance. On the other hand… we don’t know what will happen to Kyu Dong although I highly doubt that he will die since this is ‘only’ a music/idol drama it shouldn’t include a suicide in my opinion. But still if you get what I mean.

The next Couple is the Jung Couple which decided to go around visiting photo shoot ‘expert’,stylish people a.k.a friends who are better then them/more stylish to seek for advice. The first one is Kim C a friend of Jung Chi who was recording for a radio show. Jung Chi has to admit that Kim C is the most fashionable person among his friends to which Kim C explains that Jung Chi is only among beggars so that’s no surprise. Although the two have kind of the same style Kim C clothing still looks stylish which could be explained that all of his clothing a from famous brand names while Jung Chi’s… He gives Jung Chi the advice to do something about his hair and of course about the clothes.
